There is a very high demand for well-trained couples therapists and working with couples can be a great way to diversify your practice.
Imago Relationship Therapy is a relational modality of couples therapy, that offers both the ‘Why’ (theory) and ‘How’ to couples work .
In this workshop I will explain why couples get stuck and what you can do to help them move out of reactivity into connection.
I will talk you through the Imago view of the 6 stages of a relationship and give you practical strategies you can use to get your couples out of the power struggle and into real love.
The workshop includes a demonstration of the Imago Dialogue process and an opportunity for you to try it for yourself.
There will be space for questions and discussion on how the Imago approach can benefit both you as a therapist and the couples you work with.

Ian Tomlinson PTSTA(P) is an Advanced Imago Relationship Therapist, Clinical Trainer, and an associate member of the International Imago Training Institute . Ian delivers the Clinical Training Program in Imago Relationship Therapy and co-presents the Getting The Love You Want couples workshop with his partner Joanna. Ian has a private practice at The Affinity Centre, Manchester.
